At the beginning of the year, most of the activities across the globe were all disrupted, and travels were not spared. In May, most holiday travelers predicted that once the travel restrictions are lifted, their first trip would be a camping trip. It later came as a surprise to many when these predictions exceeded traveler’s earlier intended level of participation. This was according to a special edition by Kampgrounds of America’s yearly North American Camping report.
In fact, according to a report, about 21% of holiday travelers took a camping trip this summer immediately after travel restrictions were lifted. Also, about 42% stated that they still intend to take planned camping trips in the coming days before the end of the year.
